The RELIANCE 0-57410 analog output module is a discontinued 4-channel isolated analog output card for Reliance Electric AutoMax DCS5000 distributed control system, widely used in metallurgy, papermaking, rolling mill and other heavy-duty continuous production lines. It converts digital control commands from the AutoMax backplane bus into standard analog voltage or current signals, sending setpoint signals to DC drives, valve positioners, indicators and other field analog devices for speed, pressure and flow closed-loop regulation.

This module adopts 12-bit D/A conversion circuit design. Each of the four channels supports multiple signal types including +/-5V, +/-8V, +/-10V and 4-20mA. Every channel has independent isolated common point with 2500V isolation between field side and logic circuit, which effectively suppresses common-mode interference and ground loop noise. It supports channel range configuration via AutoMax programming software, and provides channel fault detection, signal break alarm and status feedback to the rack CPU.
