Details

Product Details:

The RELIANCE 0-48672 driver board is a critical drive spare part engineered for legacy RELIANCE MaxPak DC drive systems. This power control board works as the pulse driving interface between the regulator control card and thyristor power stacks. It receives low-level control pulse signals from the speed regulator board, carries out electrical isolation, signal amplification and waveform shaping, and outputs stable gate trigger pulses to fire the thyristor modules precisely. The working condition of this driver board directly decides the firing angle accuracy of power devices, which controls armature voltage and motor torque output. Degraded pulses, phase loss or isolation breakdown will trigger overcurrent trips, motor commutation faults and irreversible damage to expensive power semiconductors.

This power control board adopts standard slot-mounted card structure and fits into the RELIANCE drive rack, exchanging signals with regulator boards, feedback sensing boards and auxiliary power boards via the internal backplane bus. The PCB is equipped with multiple pulse transformers, power resistors, film capacitors and transistor circuits for multi-phase pulse generation. It operates on 24V DC auxiliary control power, with a net weight around 0.63kg. Its normal working ambient temperature range is 0℃ to 55℃, and storage temperature spans from -20℃ to 70℃. Built-in surge suppression components reduce high-frequency noise coupled from the power circuit and protect weak control signals from interference. On-board test points are reserved for technicians to measure pulse amplitude and phase sequence during maintenance, which greatly speeds up fault location.

This RELIANCE 0-48672 driver board is widely stocked for equipment maintenance and spare replacement of traditional DC speed control systems in metallurgy rolling lines, paper making machines, cable extrusion production lines and other heavy-duty industrial facilities. The original manufacturer has discontinued this model, and most available units circulating on the global industrial spare parts market are fully inspected and tested refurbished units. Before installation, technicians need to inspect pulse transformers, soldering joints, capacitor dielectric, PCB traces and gold fingers for oxidation, cracking or aging. After rack installation, phase wiring sequence must be verified, pulse signals of each channel need to be checked, and no-load and load commissioning tests should be completed. Thorough inspection and pulse calibration of this driver board can effectively avoid torque fluctuation, speed oscillation and unplanned production shutdown caused by abnormal trigger signals.
