TRICONEX 3704E is a 64-channel high density single-ended analog input module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module collects continuous analog signals from pressure transmitters, flow transmitters and temperature sensors, converting field analog measurements into digital data for the Tricon main controller. The Tricon 64-channel high density analog input module supports commoned single-ended signal input, it can accept 0-5V or -5V to +5V DC voltage signals. The high channel density design saves cabinet space and wiring cost for projects requiring large quantities of analog monitoring points. It adopts triple redundant signal processing circuits and 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and guarantee stable signal acquisition. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics can detect circuit abnormalities and hardware faults, and upload fault alarm messages to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and channel working status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and matching termination panels.
