TRICONEX 3700A is a 32-channel DC coupled differential analog input module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module collects analog field signals from pressure transmitters, flow transmitters and temperature instruments, and converts analog measurements into digital data for the Tricon main processor. The Tricon 32-channel analog input module supports 0-5V DC signal input, with 12-bit resolution and accuracy less than 0.15% full scale range. It adopts differential DC coupled circuit design and strong common-mode noise rejection capability to suppress electromagnetic interference and ground loop noise in harsh industrial sites. Triple redundant signal processing circuits and 2-out-of-3 voting logic eliminate single point of failure and ensure stable signal acquisition. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics can detect hardware faults and signal abnormalities, and upload fault alarm messages to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and channel status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and matching termination panels.
