Product Details:
The Bently Nevada 1900/65A is a standalone General Purpose Monitor developed for continuous condition monitoring and Vibration Protection of medium and small rotating machinery. This Equipment Monitor offers a cost-effective monitoring solution without requiring large rack-based TSI systems, and it is widely deployed in oil & gas, power generation, water treatment, pulp & paper and manufacturing industries to protect pumps, fans, blowers, motors and small compressors from unexpected mechanical damage and unplanned downtime.
This General Purpose Monitor is equipped with four transducer inputs and four temperature inputs. The transducer channels accept proximity probes, velocity sensors and accelerometers to measure vibration, shaft speed and position. Temperature channels support multiple types of thermocouples and RTD sensors to monitor bearing and process temperature. Each channel supports independent Alert and Danger setpoint configuration through dedicated configuration software. The Vibration Protection unit provides six programmable relay outputs and four 4-20mA recorder outputs for local alarm triggering and analog signal transmission to DCS or PLC control systems.
The Equipment Monitor adopts high-precision 24-bit ADC signal conversion to guarantee stable and accurate measurement results. It supports optional local display, which allows field technicians to view real-time measurement values, alarm status and historical event logs, storing up to 200 event records for fault investigation. Built-in self-diagnosis functions can detect sensor disconnection, signal loss and internal hardware faults. It supports Modbus communication protocol to upload monitoring data and alarm events to SCADA and System 1 software for centralized asset health management. The rugged General Purpose Monitor supports DIN rail or panel mounting, and optional weatherproof housing is available for field installation. When vibration, temperature or speed parameters exceed preset safety thresholds, the Vibration Protection unit activates relay outputs to trigger warning signals or equipment trip protection.
